Cross Fading by Roxio

Hmmmmm...there it was, free with XP; so I dropped a few mixes into the burning tray and fumped around with the fade-in/fade-out delay...experimenting with mere seconds.

My mixes are pretty good without special effects or cross-fades because I sequence them so that the end of one song naturally progresses into the beginning of the next. But layering them on top of one another does add a new aural dimension.

I'm not converting ALL my previous mixes because I actually LIKE being able to hear a gap of silence @ the appropriate moment.

But cross-fading, on the right mix, does serve its purpose.
